November Madness

Okay folks, I know I haven't been blogging much (or you know, at all) lately. But I have a good excuse, I swear! I've been super busy with a couple of things, and I'm going to take a few moments to tell you all about them right now! Aren't you excited?

First of all, I've been busy writing myself a novel, in one month! That's right folks, it's NaNoWriMo! What is NaNoWriMo, you ask? Why it's National Novel Writing Month, of course. Sillies. The basic premise is that you have 30 days and 30 nights to write your very own novel. Sounds impossible, no? No! It's totally do-able, you just need the right tools and the right encouragement! The event is international (despite the 'National' in the title) and it held from 12:00AM on November 1st to 11:59PM November 30th. Want more info? Check out the website www.NaNoWriMo.org

Next up, I've been desperately trying not to fail all of my classes this semester. I'm taking Chem 2, and we all know how I feel about Chemistry . So that's suckish at best. I'm also taking Genetics, and I had no idea how hard that was going to be. So yeah, there's that.

Besides academia, I've been making some progress on my reading list. I finally, (and I mean finally) finished Stephen King's Cell, which I highly recommend to King fans, anyone who likes horror stories and pretty much anyone who owns a cell phone. *wicked laugh* But seriously, great book. Go check it out!

Okay, I think that's it for now. As usual, I promise to write more in the future! For example, look forward to these 'Things I'm Doing' posts in December:

Crocheting a Scarf
Finishing My Novel and
Making My Resolutions

  1. Wheew, you wore me out just thinking about all you been doing!
Writing a novel, WOW. No wonder you haven't been around much.
    My kudos to you, friend.
Your not letting anything stop you.
