Shelfari!

Hey! I've just found this awesome website that lets me keep track of the books I've read, and the ones I'm reading now!

It's called Shelfari, and it's a virtual bookshelf!

I've already got a page set up, and I've put a bunch of books on my shelf!

Actually, all the books that I've blogged about here, are on my shelf! So go check them out, set up your own shelf, join a group, meet new people, talk about books and READ!

Weekends...

I just finished reading an amazing book called Weekends at Bellevue.

It's written by the psychiatrist Julie Holland, who spent 9 years worth of weekends working at the Psychiatric Emergency Room of Bellevue Hospital in New York.

My boyfriend had heard a story about the book and the author on NPR and thought I might be interested. He was right! The book is fantastic, and I loved it.

If you're at all interested in medicine, psychiatry, or even just memoirs, you'll probably like this book! So go check it out!

Blue

I'm thinking about making some Blue Velvet Cupcakes today. I thought I'd be belatedly patriotic and make nummy blue cupcakes with red frosting. Should be fun right?
I've got almost everything I need, I just need to run out to the store to grab powdered sugar and blue food coloring.
Hmm... While I'm out, I have that 20% off coupon for Kohls... Maybe I should pick up a new swimsuit? So much shopping, so little time! Ah, who am I kidding? I love it!
Okay... so I can't find blue food coloring, I guess they is just gonna be boring old red velvet with red frosting...

Hubble

I just got back from seeing Hubble in IMAX 3D. It was absolutely amazing! If you haven't seen it, you should. It's phenomenal, I think everyone should see it. Like now... seriously, go see it, I'll wait...
And in case you need more of an incentive then that, check out the trailer. It's not in 3D, but it's still pretty cool.
